Hammered Metal Bowls

Two small bowls, both hammered by hand and both unmarked. The larger is copper, its surface covered in small, closely set marks like rain on a dark pond, with a patina that has deepened to a rich brown and a rim that waves gently where the metal was worked. The smaller one is silvery on the inside, with the warm copper showing underneath, and its hammer marks catch the light in soft, uneven facets.

They sit well together, one dark and one pale, and are made for rings, coins, dry goods or nothing at all.
